Time is FLYING!

I can’t believe it’s already been 11 weeks since adding a new addition to our family! She is already over 14lbs (born at 6 lbs 9 oz) and in the 97th percentile for weight!

In other news, I bought a new lens in hopes of catching sharper images of all these little faces I’ve been meeting. My summer is booking up quicker than ever before, and I am so thankful to all my clients who are constantly helping me become better at my passion. Recently I decided to start focusing on mainly babies and toddlers, and already 90% of my bookings have reflected that! I am so happy to aim my business into something I truly love.

Meet Bentley, a 12 day old baby I had the pleasure of meeting last week at our impromptu photo-sesh. He was so well behaved, fell asleep nicely, and promptly woke right when we were starting to wrap things up. Thanks K and B for making such a cute little man!

New Directions…

After much thought and procrastination, I have come to a decision to narrow my photography down to babies and children. Don’t get me wrong, I love weddings, families and everything in between… however, I would rather specialize in one thing I love, rather than claim to be a jack of all trades. I am planning on using this time to master newborn poses, capture the wonder in toddlers faces, and see the world through the eyes of children. I hope to learn and grow over the next year and fine tune my passion. Please feel free to email me if you have any questions, nicoledaniellephotography@gmail.com. All sessions that are already booked, I will hold my commitment to you, and strive to do the best I can with your shoot.

I can’t believe how different the same photo looks on here compared to Facebook… am I missing something? I must be sizing my images wrong on my FB page… anyone with tips should definitely comment :)

As you may or may not have heard, my little girl has made her way into the world nice and early! Maternity leave has officially started, so for April and May I will be doing slim to no shoots, and instead focusing my attention (and my camera’s) on this new little person!
