Amelia, her husband Jacob, and sister Cameron were visiting their parents for the holiday weekend. It was so nice seeing The Green family again, since I photographed Amelia and Jacob’s wedding a few years ago. Their parent's back yard and nearby lake made for a beautiful background setting. We had such a fun photo session!
Ashley and Michael are celebrating the holidays for the first time in their new house! Everyone was sporting matching pajamas for the photo shoot. Their pups Cooper and Toby, cooperated so well, and looked adorable in their Santa and Rodolph outfits.

I am also so honored for being the one to take their first professional family portraits!
Two years ago, Rob was sitting at Vergina’s, an upscale Italian restaurant on 5th Avenue in Downtown Naples. All of a sudden Beth-Ellen walked in, and his eyes automatically met with hers. Rob expressed he experienced “love at first sight” right at that very moment. Beth-Ellen and Rob dated for two years, and finally decided to become husband and wife.
Gene and Bobbie, two very close friends of Beth-Ellen, planned an intimate wedding for the bride and groom. All of the couple’s close Naples friends attended to celebrate their special occasion. Both Beth-Ellen and Rob enjoy the atmosphere of downtown Naples. It was very fitting that their wedding ceremony would take place close to where they first met.
Their vows were exchanged under a large Banyan tree right in the heart of Third Street South. The Florida night air was beautiful and refreshingly cool. Lights strung around all the trees that lined the streets to the restaurants and shops, which made for a perfect ambience. After the ceremony, Beth-Ellen expressed tears of joy to Rob, saying, “we’re actually, finally married!”
You can tell that the happy couple are not only husband and wife, but are also the closest of friends. Both compliment each other so well, and it was truly an amazing opportunity to get to know them and capture their wedding moments.
Meagan and Blake were first introduced to each other by a close friend, when they were attending Florida Gulf Coast University. Both dated for two years before getting engaged, and married in 2016. This wedding was their formal ceremony and reception with all close family and friends.
The newlyweds favorite season is Fall here in Florida. It was absolutely fitting for them to not only choose a wedding date centering around this special time of year, but also incorporate classic Fall colors of purple, orange, red, and yellows into their theme.
They were pronounced husband and wife at Christus Victor Lutheran Church, where Meagan grew up attending services. The reception was held on the beautiful grounds of Copperleaf Golf Club in Bonita Springs. Large oak trees, flowers, and vibrant shrubbery lined the walkways around the venue, providing gorgeous scenery for their photos. Blake requested for them to take pictures with his black Mustang, which he purchased less then a year after they started dating.
Inside the reception, two very unique personal touches were added to their wedding decor—the cake topper, and the wooden decor on the sweetheart table—which had a pig and chicken. Their nicknames for each other are Pig and Chicken, which stems from a joke Meagan’s father made to Meagan about no longer being a pre-teen in her 20’s. She said then I must be a “pro-teen” (playing on the word protein). Laughing to her dad, and saying she’s not a chicken, Blake chimed in and said, “ yep…’you’re gunna be a chicken from now on.” Meagan proclaimed that if she was going to be a chicken, Blake would be a pig, jokingly hinting that he is a bit on the messy side. From then on their pet names stuck. I loved these little nods to the couple’s personality!
What is Autumn without a drink of hot cocoa? Meagan is a top-notch connoisseur when it comes to anything hot cocoa related. She even created her own mix of flavors and incorporated them into her guests’ favors at their tables.
Overall, the entire wedding felt like a timeless Autumn fairy tale. It was such an absolute pleasure capturing Meagan and Blake’s start to their journey together as husband and wife.
Theresa and her family were visiting Naples from out of town, and spent most of their vacation at the beach! Wiggins Pass made for a perfect photo spot. Despite the radar calling for rain the entire day, we managed to shoot in between the raindrops and had some fun along the way!
